To Place Parametric Equipment

This exercise describes how to place parametric equipment available in the Tanks and Vessels gallery.

Select a parametric equipment component from the Tanks and Vessels gallery. (Example: Tank with Cone Roof) The Properties dialog opens.
Define the Tag Number for the component, or accept the default number.
In the Properties section, define the property values for the component and click OK. The Place Parametric Equipment dialog opens.
Define the physical attributes for the component in this dialog.
Pick a point in the drawing defining the upper left point for the component.
Drag and drop the mouse to scale the equipment to the desired size.
Note: The component is drawn dynamically as you drag the mouse.
Pick a point in the drawing to place the equipment annotation.
Note: If you choose not to place the tag number annotation, right-click to end the command.
